We’re taking over the main drag of Stonebridge for the second annual Woodbridge Beerfest and filling it with beer, food, some wine, root beer, and a ton of fun for kids and adults alike!

SATURDAY, MAY 26: (Memorial Day Weekend) Starting at 11am (10am for VIP) going until 5pm.
PARTICIPATING BREWERIES: Dozens of the best of local and regional craft breweries. Visit http://woodbridgebeer.com/ for current (and growing) list.
WINE: We’ll also have a wine table so you can bring your wine drinking friends along to enjoy the merriment!
FOOD, MUSIC, ACTIVITIES: In addition to liquid revelry, there will also be food vendors, live music and other entertainment — including kid-friendly activities.
AFTER PARTY: Stay late for the after party in the Brew Republic taproom.
LOCATION: Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center is located just off of I-95 in Woodbridge, Virginia. The center is home to Brew Republic Bierwerks, as well as high end retailers like REI, Carhartt, an Apple Store, and top notch restaurants. The main road through the center (Potomac Town Place) will be closed to vehicle traffic between Starbucks and REI for the Beer Fest, creating the perfect venue for enjoying great craft beer and tasty food with friends and family.

• Wine Ticket: includes wrist band (for drinking); a commemorative glass (same one beer drinkers get); eight 4oz wine pours; and free admission to VIP tent when accompanying VIP ticket holder.
• Kid Ticket (not required but recommended): let’s kids in on the action with unlimited pours of house-made Brew Republic root beer from the tap; a plastic commemorative cup; and bottled water. Please note: Kid Tickets are not required for kids to attend.

What started as a group of friends playing bluegrass in San Francisco’s Mission District has morphed into a touring powerhouse of song and sound, transcending their humble stringband roots. Front Country’s dynamic instrumental textures take flight with grace and gravitas while rooted in the relentlessly soulful vocals of lead singer-songwriter Melody Walker. Along with mandolinist Adam Roszkiewicz, guitarist Jacob Groopman, violinist Leif Karlstrom and bassist Jeremy Darrow, this quintet has been called “passionately intoxicating” and “orchestral” and Melody’s bluesy vocals have been described as “rafter-shaking”.

Justin Trawick is a Virginia native born in Leesburg, VA and now residing in Arlington, VA close to Washington DC. His music ranges in styles from folk/bluegrass all the way to funk/hip hop. Justin’s lineup varies for each show and with instrumentation that includes: upright bass, electric and acoustic guitars, mandolin, banjo, saxophone, trumpet, cello, piano, harmonica, drums, and hand percussion.

He continues to write songs on his guitar, he plays weekly in the Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland area; he teaches at a music school for kids called Bach to Rock, he records music at his home studio as well as his great friend Andrew Dunbar’s home studio, and produces his music there as well. Britton writes about relationships with his loved ones, nature (especially the weather), and his hardships. He’s hoping to write songs that relate to many people and impact them in a positive way.

Sharif – who is currently earning his Masters at the Berklee College of Music – has made quite a name for himself on the touring front, vacillating from playing intimate solo acoustic shows of his original material to belting out cover tunes (from Rihanna’s “Disturbia” to Maroon 5’s “Won’t Go Home Without You” to Beastie Boys “Girls”) at biker bars to playing one of his favorite genres of music, oldies, at retirement centers (because he wants to, not because he has to) to corporate gigs for Gap and Amstel Light to opening for the likes of Jason Mraz, Kenny Loggins, Rhett Miller, Rusted Root, and Blake Shelton.

“Music consumes me,” explains Sharif, who has approximately 2,000 shows around the world under his belt. “I just love playing music, teaching music, learning more about music, and doing whatever I can to get there.”

MIKE RICHARDS

This acoustic alternative rock soloist, Mike Richards released his first live self-titled, 5-track EP back in August of 2015.
Based in Washington D.C., he has toured the country playing from coast to coast. Mike has been performing in rock bands and acoustically since the age of 14. His roots stem from a heavy influence of 90’s alternative mixed with some acoustic rock. His influences through the years have been the likes of Incubus, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, Third Eye Blind, Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Ed Sheeran, Prince, and The Beatles. He began this project after the split of The Offset, a former Washington DC based rock band that opened for the likes of The Wailers and Frankie Munoz’s band “You Hang Up”.

Since starting A Note Two Self, Mike has been signed to a small label based in Phoenix Arizona and has been performing around the nation for local clubs and festivals such as the Atlantic City Beer Festival with names such as the Dropkick Murphy’s and Streetlight Manifesto. He also performed in the 2017 Chicago IL and Columbia MD legs of Vans Warped Tour. His tour route for 2018 will include the final run of Vans Warped Tour, the Prescott Valley Fair in Phoenix AZ, and various other locations around the East Coast TBA.
