No Part of Nothin was recently formed when several members met at a monthly bluegrass jam. They sang together on a couple of songs, and the next thing you know they decided to enter the DC Bluegrass Union Festival’s band content. And the rest is history! The band features Michelle Murray on vocals and guitar, Steve Barrett on vocals bass, and mandolin, Paul Donovan on mandolin and vocals, Robert Meltz on banjo and David Goldman on fiddle.The band has received airplay on WAMU’s Open Mic Program, and performs regularly in the D.C. Metropolitan area, including at the monthly bluegrass music series at Seibel’s Restaurant.
