Moonstone is two longtime friends who really love playing music. They’ve known each other for years, played in different bands together and apart, and wanted to add a new aspect to their live music. Cathy is a DC-based singer-songwriter who has been singing from a young age and performing regularly around the DMV for almost 10 years. She is a multi-instrumentalist, playing guitar primarily, but also piano and percussion.
She sings with local 80s favorites, The Legwarmers, and also fronts the high-energy, 6-piece ska band, Party Like It’s. She has her own original music project and will be releasing her first album in 2018.
She has played numerous venues, theaters, festivals, and sporting events, including a Japan tour in 2015.
An avid advocate for the DC music scene, Cathy started a nonprofit in 2017 called ProjectHERA. Its mission is to support, connect and empower women and girls in the music industry. Each year, she hosts the HERA music festival, a female-fueled, all ages, celebration of women in music.
She also works as a booking agent for bands and solo artists in and around DC.
Danny Kensy is a nationally touring Country artist and songwriter based in Richmond, VA. His music blends a modern day edge with classic and traditional Western sounds. Danny has opened for such acts as Dierks Bentley, Brothers Osborne, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Gary Allan, The Charlie Daniels Band, and many more.
Kensy’s songwriting has been awarded by The Billboard Song Contest, The International Songwriting Competition, and The Great American Songwriting Contest. He has also been deemed “One To Watch” by Nashville Songwriting group NSAI and has won theJosie Award for Modern Country Rising Star.
An archaeologist by day, Joe brings a skilled energy to the Alternative and Neo-folk music scene by night. He takes inspiration from a mix of artists like Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Tom Petty, Muddy Waters, Jon Foreman, and Needtobreathe, just to name a few.
Joe got his start in Silvertongue, a hard rock band best known for winning Washington D.C.’s “Next Big Thing” Battle of the Bands in 2010. He’s since channeled his energy and passion into being a solo acoustic artist and contributing member of Signal Hill Band.
Along with performing original songs, Joe covers artists ranging from the Lumineers to Goo Goo Dolls to the Zac Brown Band. He is local to Northern VA.
Collin Athas is a musician from Baltimore, Maryland. His music spans the generations, from Classic Rock ‘N Roll to Contemporary Top Forty hits. He has fronted two bands as a lead singer, guitarist and songwriter; and, since 2016 has entertained audiences primarily as a solo act, performing in various venues in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area.
A native of Front Royal, Virginia, the country music singer/songwriter released his first EP “Up on the Drive” in 2016. This EP helped him gain traction with his music career around his hometown, the Shenandoah Valley, and further. Along with his EP, Ryan was a runner-up in the 2015 Texaco Country Showdown, a nationwide talent search, which solidified Ryan’s calling for a music career. Ryan has had the privilege of being the opening act for some major country artist’s such as Marty Stuart and Lauren Alaina. He has also shared the stage with fellow Nashville artists, and Clemson buddies, Cody Webb and Doug McCormick.
Scott McMillen is a country music singer/songwriter who splits his time between the Washington DC area and Nashville, TN. Scott performs acoustic shows and with his backup band, The Chase. Scott’s shows feature both crowd-favorite, high-energy covers and his original songs. Scott performs songs by today’s popular country artists as well as country music’s all-time greats.

Scott Testerman is a local artist who has been entertaining the Tri-State area and surrounding areas for over 25 years. He got his first guitar at 6 years old and has not put it down since. Playing everywhere from his hometown of New Castle, DE up and down the coast from Delaware to Florida and as far as California. He brings excitement and energy to the stage with a multitude of music. His background varies from Yesterday’s Country & Rock to todays R&B & fan favorites.
