Jillian Matundan is a singer-songwriter living in Northern Virginia. Her music and style is a blend of her favorite acoustic, rock, indie, and folk influences and inspirations.
Born and raised in New York State, she fell in love with was classical music when she began taking violin lessons at the age of three. Jillian trained on piano, flute, and even sitar-but is self-taught on all the other instruments she plays (guitar, ukelele, banjo, mandolin, string bass, and a host of other random instruments). She took a fifteen-year hiatus from writing and performing music to pursue a career in the labor movement when she re-discovered her musical muse in August of 2018.
Encouraged by friends and fellow songwriters, Jillian began playing solo at local open mics in January 2019, becoming the 2019 Vienna Idol runner-up along the way. She is a recipient of two Mid-Atlantic Song Contest 2019 awards (Finalist, Adult Contemporary Category for “Hangin’ On” and Honorable Mention, Open Category for “Monkey Paw”). She will be releasing her debut EP in 2020.
Jillian is a member of the Reston Community Orchestra, the McLean Symphony, the Pantones Steel Drum Band, the Songwriters Association of Washington, and the Folk Club of Reston & Herndon.
Frank McCreary has been a singer/guitarist in the Maryland Virginia Washington DC area since the mid-1980s. His strong vocals and smooth guitar playing are the perfect combination for his music. Frank play songs from artists such as James Taylor, Jackson Browne, Eagles, Cat Stevens, the Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, and many more. He has been the front man for several very popular bands in the Maryland area and has enjoyed success in many venues, including Orioles Park at Camden Yards, M&T BANK stadium, all the areas casinos, and all major Maryland and DC night clubs. Frank has even performed at the French Embassy. Frank and his bands have opened up for multiple musical stars over the years, and Frank is currently recording his own music where he lives in Westminster Maryland. Frank has had success recording with multiple other artists, and had a recording in the rotation for Grammy nomination in 2011.
Guitarist and vocalist from Columbia, South Carolina. Currently resides in Old Town Alexandria, right outside of DC. Influenced by Classic and Southern Rock as well as BluesR&B, Hip Hop and Alternative Rock. Has played all over the Carolinas for the last 3 years and is now emerging in the DC, Marland, Virginia scene. Plays solo as well as experienced front man for a number of musicians and bands.
STR Incorporates a blend of hit songs from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, 00’s and today that represents the band’s musical tastes while also appealing to a broad audience. They select music that is well-known but not overplayed, and tailor each performance to the venue and the audience on any given night. Their versatile catalogue, combined with their high-energy stage presence, makes every STR performance unique.
A native of Front Royal, Virginia, the country music singer/songwriter released his first EP “Up on the Drive” in 2016. This EP helped him gain traction with his music career around his hometown, the Shenandoah Valley, and further. Along with his EP, Ryan was a runner-up in the 2015 Texaco Country Showdown, a nationwide talent search, which solidified Ryan’s calling for a music career. Ryan has had the privilege of being the opening act for some major country artist’s such as Marty Stuart and Lauren Alaina. He has also shared the stage with fellow Nashville artists, and Clemson buddies, Cody Webb and Doug McCormick.
Anthony Gill is a local singer/songwriter who has been performing between Richmond and Northern Virginia for several years. His unique interpretation of classic Rock, Blues, R&B and Country classics has made him one of the most original live performers around.
