Bad w/ Names is a premier Baltimore based modern and classic rock cover band with a taste in music that is as diverse as its band members.
Lead singer/rhythm guitarist Jason Siemer recorded a full length CD of original music in 2006 titled, “Life of Me” and has performed as a solo artist throughout the years in Baltimore and Los Angeles, before meeting the members of his current band Bad w/ Names in 2009.
Mike Flynn (Lead Guitar), Mike Berg (Bass) and Greg Yakaitis (Drums) have honed their skills in various original and cover bands over the years and each bring their own eclectic style to the table to form the perfect mix of modern and classic rock music for any live audience. The band prides itself on constantly adding new music to their song library to give fans a new experience at each show.

A Maryland native, Shane Gamble embodies what it means to be a working musician. Shane attacks his guitar with passion and sings jangly songs about the good times with a distinctly American feel. Close your eyes and imagine if Tom Petty or Bruce Springsteen were to emerge now on Country radio, then added a modern twist…that’s Shane.
An archaeologist by day, Joe brings a skilled energy to the Alternative and Neo-folk music scene by night. He takes inspiration from a mix of artists like Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Tom Petty, Muddy Waters, Jon Foreman, and Needtobreathe, just to name a few.
Joe got his start in Silvertongue, a hard rock band best known for winning Washington D.C.’s “Next Big Thing” Battle of the Bands in 2010. He’s since channeled his energy and passion into being a solo acoustic artist and contributing member of Signal Hill Band.
Along with performing original songs, Joe covers artists ranging from the Lumineers to Goo Goo Dolls to the Zac Brown Band. He is local to Northern VA.
Cathy is a DC-based singer-songwriter who has been singing from a young age and performing regularly around the DMV for almost 10 years. She is a multi-instrumentalist, playing guitar primarily, but also piano and percussion.
She sings with local 80s favorites, The Legwarmers, and also fronts the high-energy, 6-piece ska band, Party Like It’s. She has her own original music project and will be releasing her first album in 2018.
She has played numerous venues, theaters, festivals, and sporting events, including a Japan tour in 2015.
An avid advocate for the DC music scene, Cathy started a nonprofit in 2017 called ProjectHERA. Its mission is to support, connect and empower women and girls in the music industry. Each year, she hosts the HERA music festival, a female-fueled, all ages, celebration of women in music.
She also works as a booking agent for bands and solo artists in and around DC.
The Chance Club is Laura Van Duzer (vocals, keys), Matthew Schleigh (vocals, guitar), Jason Wilson (vocals, bass) and Manny Arciniega (drums, percussion). Combining strong harmonies and excellent playing, they perform originals and covers from the 60’s thru today.
There’s something about a Vinyl Rhino show that irresistibly draws you towards the dance floor. Not only an incredibly tight band but a visual show that is incredibly entertaining… they don’t just go on stage, they explode onto it like a force of nature.
David is seasoned musician and has been performing since he was 9 years old. His versatility in the local music scene has made him a house hold name in the DC area with influential styles of pop, rock, reggae, hip-hop, and indie. Though first and foremost a vocalist and rhythm guitar player, he also has performed drums, bass, and keys with various bands.
Mike can be found performing at many local clubs on weekends. He gets his musical talent from his parents, but growing up, the focus was always football. Mike became one of the highest ranked high school football players in the nation and received 13 full-ride scholarships. Unfortunately, he did not have the grades to pursue his college football dreams. He started working to get by and it was his parents who helped him realize he needed to get back to his musical roots and take a bold move toward making his dreams come true.
