Heather Aubrey Lloyd of the band ilyAIMY is bent over a U.S. map bigger than her kitchen table, chairs positioned to hold up the corners. She’s adhering little pictures to it, cramming memories inside the borders of the 41 states they’ve visited during a decade road tripping and performing.

“A welcome jolt in folk” and “An acoustically roiling, combustible attack on the usual singer/songwriter fare”
Jason Masi got his start with Richmond, VA based group, Jubeus, opening for acts like Blind Melon, Everclear, and SOJA and releasing two well received albums, “Two Tone Circles” 2004 and “Natural Mood” 2007, respectively. He stepped out as a solo artist in 2010, trading in the band’s roots-jam driven rock for a more acoustic soul/R&B songwriter approach.

Kenney’s vocal style and instrumental prowess has wowed audiences for over 40 years nationally and internationally. He has been compared to BB King perhaps because his choice of instrument is a gold gilded “Lucille” guitar inlaid with mother of pearl or maybe it is just that he plays the blues with the intensity of a seasonal blues man. He has also been compared to the likes of George Benson and Wes Montgomery as Kenney is an accomplished jazz guitarist and vocalist.

Scott Kurt grew up in America’s Rust Belt, and the grittiness of his roots is evident in every aspect of his music. From his debut album, “Ragged But Right”, recorded with his band Memphis 59, to his first solo effort “Down This Road”, he captures the essence of hard living, hard work and hard times in deeply personal lyrics delivered by a whiskey-tinged bar room voice wrapped up inside a whole lot of full-tilt country-rock guitar.
An open hand reaching into your soul and holding your heart may best describe the way Andrew has spliced broken words of emotion. The lyrical content of his original writings could easily be listened to through a mono-tone metal box, hanging off the side of the driver’s door window. Although he has spent many years as a young musician, collaborating and teaming with others that are equally motivated to find themselves in their spiritual quest for the perfect sound of a strumming heartbeat, the time has come. He is ready to share his acoustic guitar and sage, soulful sound…
